CONSTITUTION OF FEDERATION OF CINE TECHNICIANS’ AND WORKERS OF ASSAM

These Constitution will be called Constitution of the North East Film and Video Technicians’ Association.

Name and Title:

• The of the Association is “FEDERATION OF CINE TECHNICIANS’ AND WORKERS OF ASSAM”
• These constitutions come into force immediately.
• The Head Office of the Association will be located at Guwahati, Assam.
• The present address will be: House No.18/B, R.G. Baruah Road, Manik Nagar, 2^nd Bye lane (Left), Guwahati-781005

Applicability:

These constitutions will be applicable to Technicians and Artist of the Motion       Pictures, Video Production and any Satellite Production of Northeastern State.

Technicians and Artist means:

• Production: Production Manager, Production Assistant, Production Boys, Spot Boys, Head Cooks and Assistant Cooks.
• Direction: Director, Chief Assistant Director, 2^nd Assistant Director, 3^rd Assistant Director and 4^th Assistant Director.
• Camera: Director of Photography, Cinematographer, Chief Assistant Cameraman, 2^nd Assistant Cameraman, Videographer and Assistant Videographer, Focus Puller, Grapher. Drone Operator.
• Artist: Lead Actor (Male/Female), 2^nd Lead Actor (Male/Female), Supporting Actor (male/Female), Junior Artist (Male/ Female), Child artist, Extra Artist.
• Editing: Editor (Film & Video), Assistant Editor (Film & Video), Special Effects, Graphic Designer, Animator, Colorist (DI).
• Sound: Sound Recordist, Assistant Sound Recordist and Boom-Man.
• Make-Up: Make-Up-Artist, Assistant Make-Up-Artist and Hair Dresser.
• Art Direction:” Art Director, Assistant Art Director, Set-Boy, Carpenter, Painter, Molders Caster, Tapist, Polish man, Assistant Carpenter, Assistant Painter.
• Costume: Costume Designer, Assistant Costume Designer.
• Choreographer: Choreographer, Assistant Choreographer, Dancer.
• Jimmy Operator: Jimmy Operator, Assistant Jimmy Operator.
• Fight Master: Fight Director, Assistant Fight Director, Fighter, Fire Work.
• Music: Music director, Arranger and all category of Musician, Singer (Male/Female).
• Writer: Story Writer, Script Writer, Dialogue Writer.
• Light: Light-Man, Electricians & Trolley/Crane Operator.
• Attendant: Camera Attendants, Sound Attendants & Light Attendants.
• Still Photography: Still Photographer, Assistant Still Photographer.
• Driver: Driver (Sumo, Van, Bus, Generator Driver).

Election of Executive Body:

(a) The General Body will elect the members of the Executive Body in general meeting of the Technicians and Artist two in a year by Voice Votes.

(b) 2/3^rd of the General Body members will form the quorum for the purpose of electing the executive body.

(c) The following will be office bearers of the Executive Body to be elected by the general body in the manner prescribed in sub-clause(s) and (b) above:

Frequency of meeting of General Body and Executive Body :

(a) The General Body will meet mandatory once after completion of one year commencing from the date of expiry of the first year of the first general body meeting.

(b) An Emergency General Body Meeting may be convened with 3 days’ notice in newspapers or What’s up Group to discuss and take decisions of urgent nature which are normally beyond the competence of the Executive Body.

(c) The Annual General Body Meeting as well as emergent General Body Meeting on specified agenda will be convened in normal circumstances, by the General Secretary or in the absence by any of the Joint Secretary.

(d) If the General Secretary and the Joint Secretaries fail to convene any Annual General Meeting or emergency general meeting on demand by any two members of the executive body, any one of the executive member will be competent to demand a requisition meeting through the President or in absence the Working President or Vice President specifying the reasons such a requisition meeting and agenda which requires to be taken up by the requisitioned general meeting.

(e) 1/3^rd of the valid general members on the given date will form the quorum of a requisitioned general body meeting and the decision(s) of such a general body meeting will be binding on all concerned.

Power and Function of the General Body:

(a) The General Body will have supreme power on all policy matters planning and ordering execution of its resolved decisions through the duly elected executive body.

(b) The Executive Body and it’s office-bearers will be directly responsible to the General Body and it’s actions and decisions will accountable to the general body.

(c) The General Body will have overall supervision control and administration of the affairs of the Association.

(d) The General Body’s decisions and directions will be by way of unanimous adoption od resolutions to be authenticated by the President of the particular General Body Meeting.

(e) The General Body may appoint one or two advisors of the Association without voting right.
